Planted in November 1992

Usually known as TWZ (where Z rhymes with sea).

This plot was pit planted. It was very wet when the planting was done. The pits had been pre-dug and had to be bailed out with teapots borrowed from Big Pit at Blaenavon!

Measuring

Year 1:
1993 - Most trees died in the first year (hence the name they were christened with).

Other comments:
The top corner of the plot had 'fairy dust' added (fertiliser) and that's done much better.
