July : Summer measuring and more worms

Svetla and Booseys had their 20 year measurement. The project was only intending to measure as far as ten years, but we are still here so thought we'd better do some more measuring. The measuring poles were long enough - just!

For the second year the intrepid worm team went digging. Armed with last year's knowledge we went about this in a more planned way and only measured between trenches in various plots.

Mike's students carried out an ecological transect on their plot.
