July : Several species of small furry animals...
25th - 30th
Measurements taken in Sheila. The Twilight Zone might also have been measured as it was ten years after planting, but there might not have been enough trees to make it worthwhile.
The small mammal survey was carried out by Kip in Titania and Syrinx, using the open slope as a control. See 'Documents' for the report.
The Guardian came to do an article for their education supplement - there were lots of teachers helping this year.
Some sheep managed to get into the fenced area so the volunteers had to hone their herding skills.
April : Late measuring
Svetla and Booseys had their ten-year measurements taken by a non-Earthwatch team. This should have been done last summer.
Kip tested out an idea she had for trapping small mammals.
